I was born in the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico. Since I was very young, I felt attracted to art. I grew up in the northeast side of the island between the beautiful Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Forest of El Yunke. My passion for music came through my culture and especially through my mother. At the University of Puerto Rico, I studied art, languages and linguistics. I moved to Hamburg in January 2007 and since then I have dedicate myself to music and painting.
As a singer, I like to present the story and the unique emotions inside of each song. As music can be express through a variety of genres, I like to present a diverse repertoire in each of my live presentations. My repertoire combines the classic rhythms of Jazz, Blues, Swing and Soul with the sophisticated melody of the Bossa Nova and the intense passion of the Bolero. During independent exhibitions with Künstlergruppe Artenuestro I like to present a special repertoire of Boleros from Latin America. The Boleros contextualize our paintings and offer the spectators a more vivid and richer experience of the Latin American cultures.
